Conidiophores micronematous, cylindrical, septate, simple, superficial, hyaline to light olive coloured.

Conidia 30-42.5 x 26-50 mm, irregularly helicoid or coiled in three planes, solitary, forming a knot of about 10 to 30 cells, smooth,thick-walled, brown to dark brown, appearing black in masses.
